Atención / Spoiler Alert: Este post contiene información sobre la trama (y puede que el final, según cómo me dé) del libro Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

And finally it ended. And for some reason it reminded me of the comment I was told about the Kill Bill movies. “It’s not what you think it is. Well, it is, it’s about fighting and killing, but in the end it’s the greatest love story.” And it really was.

So I come to chapter 33 (coincidence that’s the number I chose to put in my nickname when I saw fawkes was taken). Certainly the train was not the best place to read about the Prince’s tale, but anyway. I would like to explain how I felt while reading all those flashbacks in his life, but I guess I don’t want to give up any of the details to people who haven’t read it yet. I just want to say that when I knew his whole story, I couldn’t help going back to the previous chapter and re-read his last words… And in reaching the bit when “the green eyes found the brown”, I understood. That was it. So Lily’s eyes had always been there, reminding him of her death and the enormous task it had brought with.
It’s amazing how this book changed my intense feeling of hatred into one of deep understanding and admiration for the same person (although imaginary). I thought nothing would compare to the despair I felt after Dumbledore’s death, but certainly this does… Brava J.K., you did it again.

And that’s it, I’m done with my Harry Potter geek side
